I finally got my belly button pierced! Here's my story!!:

My dad got home from work, showered and soon after my mom, him and I were off to Big Joe and Son's tattoo parlor on central ave. Went we got in there was a mother and her 2 daughters in there, looking at all the different tattoo designs... so we followed the trend and started looking to find my dad's tattoo design (The one he already has.. and got at Big Joe's about a month or 2 ago.)
Some guy with long hair in a mohawk cut came up to us and said "What were you looking for, something you have in mind?" and my mom was like "Ohh, no. She wants her Belly button pierced" so he was like "Okay! Give me a minute to get set up, and i'll call you in."
We continued looking at the tattoo designs, and I found my dads... except it was all pink and had a heart in the middle instead of a ying yang. My dad's looked nothing like it... It looks so much cooler! Anyways... the guy came back out and this woman asked him about some piercing she had... and she thought it was infected or something.. I dunno.. but she went into the room, and they were in there for like 5 minutes... so we just had to wait.
Finally the girl came out and left, and this other girl asked about a tattoo.. but he got someone else to help her. Then he took me into the piercing room. (Dun dun dunnnnn.) it was kinda freaky since neither my mom nor my dad was allowed in with me.
I sat down on the chair and started to make small talk about how 'busy' they were. We kept talking as he opened everything right in front of me... which I was happy he did because I knew that everything was clean, and not used before me. Yet I hated because I saw all the random shit plus the needle... which was creepy.
He told me to stand up straight with both feet together so he could clean my belly button with rubbing alcohol and mark where the piercing would go. Then he told me to sit down and relax.
I sat down on what looked like a doctor like chair, and layed down. He put the clamp on, around the 2 black perment marker stains... which pinched a bit, but it wasn't bad at all. Then put a rubber blue stopper (which looked like an ear plug.) on the bottom of my belly button. He applyed vasoline to the needle and then told me to breath deeply. Which might I add I was already doing. "In throught your nose, you throught your mouth." he said... I was so nervious and dis-combobulated I was trying to concertrate on what he was saying.. so I was like "hmm.. in though my nose..*breath* and out throught my mouth *breath.*
In thought my nose *peirce* out thought my mouth... and jewlery was already in... he just had to attach the ball. I was so excited! It did hurt a little... like a pinch..but more of a pinch than the clamp... but it wasn't unbearable pain.. and it was over in like 5 seconds.
Sitting home now, I keep staring at it.. it's gorgous... I love it so much!! The only thing I don't like is that (for now) it's not a barbell.. it's a hoop, and it's kinda of a big hoop. The guy (who's name was Paul.) said I could come back in a week or 2 to change it, because hoops were the only things he had. Oh well... i'm fine with it!!
As of right now, it's a little sore... but thats normal, it shouldn't be sore for monday when I head on down to my cousin house(till the 11th!) Well, that's it for now folks...
